Musikalische Moderne: Hoffnung 1

The opening part HOFFNUNG 1, named after Klimt’s famous work of the same name, aims to lay the foundation for a musical understanding of modernity: The most important representatives of the Parisian and New Viennese Schools — Lili Boulanger, Maurice Ravel, Alban Berg, Anton von Webern — are gathered here as “classics,” performed by selected Viennese musicians.
