The closing concert DIE HOFFNUNG concludes with the aforementioned works by Arnold Schönberg. Presented by the brilliant Gringolts Quartet from Zurich, his Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night) from 1899 and the String Quartet No. 4 from 1936 are performed.
Renowned musicians from Vienna, St. Gallen, Florence, Salzburg, and Zurich—who perform on the world’s finest stages—take part in the concert series MUSICAL MODERNITY. The entire cycle is consistently moderated by the top-class actress Diana Dengler.
